Double bed? If I were to get a double bed, what would be the best type?? My room is very small but I'm getting rid of heaps of stuff. What are the best brands?

Where can I find a double bed that I could create space underneathe? I am hopefully buying an apartment, one of the rooms is a single bedroom so having a double bed, wardrobes, cabinets ect would cause a problem with space. I was thinking, I want a bed that comes off the floor by about 6 feet so I can put these underneath...obviously would get some ladders for this but do these type of beds exist?
