Bed Post

What is your best or worst experience with a bed post?

I don't own bed posts, but plan on having them in the near future. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. POLL: Segway or Suped-up motorized wheel chair?

1. it involebved a wheel chair , hand cuffs and a pack of gum.......i said 2 much
2. running into them in pitch black trying to find the bed. wrap them with bubble wrap lol
3. I'm scared of bedposts. What if I'm changing the lightbulb & I fall & get impaled by one? I won't have bedposts!! Suped-up motorized wheel chair for sure!!!! Can't sit on a Segway!
4. ohh the thingy, on the very end of the bed? well i was walking on mine, trying to balance and well... i fell, and i was in alot of pain for about a week

6. A bed post came in contact with a delicate part of my anatomy very fast and a fair bit of force.... Don't ask how. Segway.. They Rule!!!

8. Segway? huh? Anyway... NO to bedposts. Do not under any circumstances purchase a bed with bed posts, especially cast iron ones... Unless you want your partner to turn up at their parents with a huge big lump on their forehead... x
