Has anyone used a twin bed connector to make a king bed? Was it comfortable?
I would like to have a king-sized bed, but it won't fit up the stairs. I have seen connectors that link twin mattresses together and supposedly smooth out the gap in between them so you can't feel it - two brands are King Maker and Create-A-King. If you've tried one of these, was it a good solution? Could you really not feel the mattress edges and space down the middle?

- It works! Just be sure to place a king size foam mattress topper on top and you'll be fine. I believe you will need california king sized sheets also.
- It should be fine, but i thought that most bed bases these days are in two sections, meaning there's no reason why it shouldn't fit up the stairs.
- It should be fine. Just make sure you tie the beds together in some fashion, so they're not shifting and someone ends up falling between! It's actually a better idea when you think about it--a KING bed has limited utility, but two twins are useful if circumstances change, or you need two beds down the line for whatever reason.
