Does a bed frame for a King Mattress work for a California King Mattress?

Our father in law gave us his older California King Mattress set, but the frame he sent is missing some parts so I thought I would just get a new one off of Ebay or something. But it seems that California King Bed frames are hard to come by. Is that because a standard King frame will fit both? I would just order the missing parts if I knew where. It's missing a couple of clamps and some wheels.

1. it should if they are both king.why don't you just see if you can order the missing parts instead of buying a whole new frame.your choice.just thought it would save you alot of money.
